That sounded pretty awesome. I could only hear the bass and drums and a little bit of the background stuff but that's just because some people are sleeping right now so gotsta keep the volume down. I'll be back again to listen in, maybe check out the final? Sounds awesome...can't wait to blast it!

I like it it a lot! The glitched percussion falls short of par but the theme sounds great and the aura this songs emits is superb. Plus Resident Evil is ahhhmaazzzin!

It sounds good when you have the right amount of instruments playing. There are parts of this song that feel empty because there isn't enough accompaniment. You could probably cut out a little bit of the intro too, you don't really need to go that long with just a kick and snare. Parts of this are really good though, 1:52 I thought was great loved it. at 2:16when the decaying pluck lead came in the song felt a little bare, some backing instruments/synths would help a lot. So I'm going to say add some accompaniment and a little EQing and you are all set with this mix. I just played through the MegamanX series in like 4 hours a couple of days ago, it was awesome. Anyways, well done sir I tip my hat to you my fellow musician, if i had a hat to tip that is...

You made another great song. I wasn't expecting all the sampled vox stuff but you used all the samples beautifully. Gates added a great rhythm and res leads worked to perfection, almost oldskool like. I loved every second. great job and keep it up.

Great Song...

Your musical sense is honestly superb but I think if you could mix the instruments and drums better you could get some DL's instead of just listens and votes. Like I said the progressions and everything are awesome but the set doesn't really fit all that well. some FX and mixing could really bring things together. there needs to be similar elements to each one of your instruments that way your instruments become assimilated and sound more unison. that signature little trill thing you do is awesome though, gives it a nice chill oriental feel. great song, 5'd, now lets see if you can get me to dl a song of yours ;)

I Enjoy This...

I thought I already wrote a review but I guess I haven't so better later than never. I like the hat work a lot in this one and all the sounds are awesome from the background leads to the little droplet sounding arp. I just wish it was longer...but that's nothing a loop can't fix, I can and have listened to this all day. Great song.

Orchestral Is A Good One...

I haven't used it entirely for a song though, I just like to bust out a string from there every once and a while. Nice song though! this is some epic stuff. The pizzicato work make this song great and the string build is awesome. Snares are pretty good too. I think you could use some more low percussion and/or harder ones along with some more powerful crashes to give the song an extra boost (though it's pretty powerful as is)

I don't know...

I think that you put a little to much on that bass and to little on your kit. the song just doesn't feel balanced, the bass is overpowering. Once everything is there it kind of works but I still think there is a lot more work to do. Try keeping that low pass filter on the bass the whole time (just get rid of the very high frequencies.) I am just giving you suggestions so don't feel obligated to do them. It's your song so you have to feel what is right. Even though the stuff I am saying could be helpful it might not be that accurate. I need to sit down and feel the song and turn those knobs to get what I need to get. I honestly think I like the first version better. I do however think that this song is a step in the right direction it simply hasn't taken enough steps yet. Btw I had a feeling this was your song, the trills/pull offs in the lead at 1:14 kind of gave it away. keep working on those sounds and how everything mixes together.

I made the bass overpowering on purpose. Maybe i should give it a bit less power, but i still want it to be a bit overpowering :P
I'll try that thing with the filter you said and maybe tweak the bass a bit more. And change some more things :P
