It sounds like it can be a hit

But even though it sounds like you know how to make these songs you have to clean it up. Your levels are way to high or something because it is way to muddy at parts. Other than that though it sounds real nice. I honestly liked everything but the middle bridge. It's a very epic song and one that I really enjoyed listening to. I would give you some more advice/criticism but I don't really know that much about progressive trance so my review shall end here.

Now I can officially award you the first good song I have heard today! Congratulations! Now if only there were a prize...

Nice...

Ohh man I had it going and I was getting into it and then the drums came in. I honestly didn't like that oldskool drum kit. If you would have used some nice samples and taken somethings out of your low end frequencies and placed them in your mids I would have shit my pants. But nonetheless still an amazing song. The synthwork and progressions really did hold my attention I just had to block out those drums to thoroughly enjoy it.

I like how you used Fl for everything, it really makes you work when your trying to make your own sounds. For that alone I am giving you a 5/5. Your bass was spot on along with most other things that I am picking up here. keep it coming and I will keep on listening.

OOoo Yeah....

Kind of a dark little dance piece you have here. This kind of reminds me of timberland, just the style mainly the chip sounds like in AYO Tech. I like how you broke into that little hip hop part too, that was NICE! Another thing that I liked was the intro.

Somethings that I might have changed would not necessarily be the synths but how I would compress them. I would also try to get a little more flange/wah and drt on that main bass to give it a nice gritty danve bass sound almost DnB like.

Nice job though I really like how this one turned out. Gotta return the love

Sweet...

Now that's what I call a kick...or I mean kicks. Are you telling me that everything I hear in this song was a kick? if so then I clap my hands in gratitude good sir. If not, I still clap my hands in gratitude sir.

Some of your kicks or whatever they are sound a little out of key though, or are very clashing notes in your key. I cant really give you any advice though. I liked too many things about it to so anything bad about this submission. I liked the beginning more than the end though.

It sucks that retarded people don't take into account skill, composition, or any other elements besides how it sounds to them.

WizzardRabbit responds:

Thank you for speaking your mind. Yes all of this is just kicks. Some were played 80 to 90 times per beat giving it a vibrate effect. and to give it a synth-like feel you just play it at a high note/tone. but yes everything here is kicks.

Hmmm...

I would like to start off by saying that this is certainly a nice piece of music you have here. I can definitely see this in a tv series, I'm not sure about an anime though. The beginning of this song is kind of like the Crank Yankers theme song. Don't ask how, I have never seen an episode of it.

I am not sure if I liked the clarinet in it...no never mind it's okay. I think that your percussion need a tiny boost, just to make them a little more noticeable. It sounds like you are going for a happy end of the semester at the start but then it changes and gets a little dreary. Those are the only things that I can think of that MIGHT need changing.

The main reason I clicked on this song though was because today is the end of my semester, so I said "I have to give this a review." Seriously though it sounds good.

Nice Trance with Some Ind. Drums

I like your choice of percussion, that's what did it for me. The rhythm of your synths were good to.

I'm pulling a "all nighter" studying for my final that I will be taking in about 5 hours so this song is really pumping me up at almost 4AM where I am.

Anyways back to the review. Good idea to gate that crash towards the end that really had a nice blend to it.Is there a snare? I can't hear one, it sounds like you are using a ride for your snare which is another unique idea to say the least. maybe I'm just not hearing it right because I'm so tired...well, need to get back to my studies good song keep it coming.

Never mind I hear a snare, lol I'm fucking tired...

Maybe You Found Inspiration?

This was a nice song, very overwhelming. Songs like this can always use a good chime/epic bell and a crazy choir of monks. What plug-ins did you use for this btw? Im going to guess Orchestral and Plucked! and maybe some Sounfont? I'm probably way off but I like to guess anyway.

Good submission, keep it coming! I hadn't heard any of your stuff in a while so I thought I would see what you've been working on, I have to say it...It is some good work.

See you around

Definitly Original

I liked it the quality of some of the samples sound pretty bad. I think that was intentional though. It sounds like you really poured on the distortion. Something that really caught my attention was that gated lead. It had a very bazaar feel to it, in a good way of coarse. I liked that back ground soft synth too, the one that plays through the whole track pretty much. At parts to it sounds like there are foot steps, I don't know if that is just me or maybe those are the footsteps going towards the sandwich...

Some tips for future songs...for your drums beats try using some ride cymbals/or more cymbal work at parts and other high-mid frequencies to go along with the drums. And in this song since distortion seems to be the main theme here you would probably want to put distortion on that to. Try to some variations too. Maybe throw in some more ghost notes and once that's done maybe a compressor to top it off.

Ha, seriously though that title is original. Good stuff, its a shame that it is rated so low. The syths felt like they were from another world! Keep it up, I will be back to hear more of your stuff.

Thanks mate, cheers for the advice! I agree the cymbalness is missing a bit too, not like in my other tracks.
Thanks for the interest too, I very much enjoy reading reviews of my stuff and replying =]
Cool, 5/5 nice one =D
It was very deliberately distorted, and there where actually 3 separate drum patterns going at one point. I think maybe I over crowded the song a bit, but like i said, not my best ever xD. Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed it =] Looking forward to more reviews like this!

YEAH!

Dude, this song is tight! I feel like doing something now but I don't know what...Maybe mine? Anyway nice song, I loved the clanking stuff in the background for your percussion, Oh I just read your comment on that review, I was just about to say something about Donkey Kong. Seriously though good song. (Damn the person who gave this a zero!)

Cool Stuff

That arp was sick when it came in and when it faded out too! This song is probably the best song that I have heard so far today. I felt that the changes where there for the most part. I mean you could have done some more variations but this song as it is is still very nice. My favorite thing about this song though had to be the arp in the middle, and when the strings came in with it...GG. Good stuff, keep it coming.

Oh man! Second time around now and I just thought of something. That middle part with the arp kind of sounds like the song "Transa" by Transtar check that song out I think you would like that. Anyways nice job, see ya around.
